Mission – Back To School
I am always on a budget and love to change things up. So, with Mission Flour Tortillas I can do just that.
I love the fact that I can get Mission Flour Tortillas in small (6"), medium (8") and large (10”) sizes in major grocery stores nationwide! I usually use the medium ones the most in my house. A great plus is they contain 0 grams trans fat per serving and are cholesterol free. Since I am working hard on losing weight that is a major plus. Not only that they are budget-friendly and a great everyday staple!
I love using these to make burrito casserole and of course my favorite dessert chocolate chimichangas! If you never had chocolate chimichangas you don't know what you are missing! Yes, they aren't the healthiest thing for you but they are a yummy dessert. I use the large mission flour tortillas for this mission. I then put a hershies chocolate bar in the middle and wrap it up like a burrito. After that I then place it folded side down in my hot coconut or olive oil. But any oil you use is fine. Then you let that fry up till golden brown color. Then I place it on some paper towels to help absorb the oil. Then I put it on a plate and top with ice cream and chocolate syrup! Then you enjoy and die in chocolate bliss!
