Sorry I have been MIA and we found out we are having a.....

We just found out we are having another little girl! Looks like girls are the majority at my house. The kids where bummed when we told them yesterday as they where all hoping for a little brother. But it's the Lord's will we have another little girl! So, obviously the Inteligender test I took awhile back was wrong.

I am fine with it and I think it will work out for the best for my 2 little ones to get to be big sisters to a baby sister. My 3 yr old has turned into loving babies and mothering so I know she will love it. Now all those cute little girl clothes I sewed, knitted,  and crocheted will get a 3rd use! And then I don't have to wonder what I am going to do with all those cute baby girl patterns I have.

On another note I have been MIA due to the fact that this past weekend my loving husband decided to whisk me away for the whole weekend! Usually we just get a way for a night or just a day but this time a whole weekend from Friday to Sunday! I was exstatic!

We had lots of fun and time together. Which is nice as he is always busy. Even when he comes home he's constantly doing something. But it was nice to have him all to myself for once and no one called him either! I don't know about you but it seems everytime we sit down to dinner his phone rings. So, it was nice to have his full undivide attention.

I am hoping next week to be back in the swing of things. I do have some giveaways lined up! So, please bear with me. It seems like things just have gotten busier.

Well boxes and totes take up tons of space. Then on top of that you got to worry about bugs and rewashing them all when you get them out.

That's why I am excited to tell you about Space Bag Lavender Scent Bags! I recently got to try them. I have to say I love how very little space the take up compared to boxes and totes! What's for Dinner with EZ COOK Review!

Are you always trying to figure out what to cook for dinner? I know I struggle at time to try and come up with yummy dinners instead of the same old same old.

So, I was exstatic when Hormel asked me to try out their new EZ COOK program. It's designed to make finding the perfect recipe for that special cut of meat. Along with that  Hormel has a new line of products called Hormel Always Tender.

Let me tell you they are tender! I had such a fun time shopping and chosing a recipe to try. The great thing is if you have a smartphone you don't have to figure out what type meat you are going to get then chose a recipe. You can do it right at the grocery store! How great is that?

So, on my fun grocery shopping trip I chose Hormel Always Tender Bone-In Assorted Chops. I made Pork Chops with Cranberry-Orange Sauce. The great thing is you can chang the recipe to fit your serving size. Which is great! It recommended brown rice as a side but I am not big on brown rice so I did white rice and green beans.
It was delicious! Everyone loved it! I felt like I was on one of those food shows! But I did enjoy cooking this meal as it was different then what I am use to. I am sure we will have this yummy dish again.

I will say that if you cut up the Pork Chop and mix it with the Cranberry-Orange Sauce with the white rice it is yummy! Now I will have to try some of the other yummy recipes on EZ COOK!

To find out where you can buy Hormel Always Tender in you area find out here.

Thanks Hormel for a great dinner success!

I received a $100 stipend and product coupons from Hormel Foods to cover the cost of my groceries for my EZ Cook inspired meal. I am also entered to win a $500 gift card for writing this post.

Lighting how it effects you!

I have always noticed how lighting affects ones mood. You know when the sun is shining you are happy and feel good. Then when it's stormy and gloomy out you just feel down and depressed at times.

Well the same goes for our inside lighting as well. It also affects our eyesight. If you are reading a book you need good lighting. If you want a romantic dinner with your husband or boyfriend you would want either candle light or low lighting.

I personally love Pendant Lighting for over my table. I think it makes it look more elegant. Of course different types of lighting do different things.

What type of lighting is your favorite?

Charlie's Soap Review and Giveaway!

I was pleased when Charlie’s Soap agreed to send me some of their product for a review, since I had been hearing some good things about this soap and wanted to try it for myself. I received a bag of the Laundry Powder, and a pocket size bottle of spray of Charlie’s.

Charlie’s Soap is an eco-friendly line products. Their products are made in the USA and are both non-toxic and bio-degradable. This detergent works to clean clothes thoroughly, and not leave behind the residues that most laundry detergents do. This is why the folks at Charlie’s advise new users to run an initial load 3 times, in order to ensure the residues from other detergents are removed from your washer. I put some especially discolored whites in for this triple treatment, and I must say even after the first washing, I saw a noticeable difference. By the third time through, some of the items that I had pretty much given up on, were now a sparkling white (bleach was not used by the way). And if you cloth diaper this is great detergent!
We have a front loader and wash in cold, so I was originally a bit skeptical about washing with a powdered detergent. I have been using liquid  for years now and mainly because the powder never seemed to do good in cold water. There was no need to be concerned. Both the liquid and powder versions of Charlie’s Soap are formulated to perform in cold water, as well as, at warmer temperatures. I used the small bottle of spray of Charlie’s, to help with stains which I thought might be particularly stubborn, and it worked just as well as the stain spray I have used in the past, which is loaded with scary chemicals.

I will be using Charlie's Soap again. I love the over all performance on my clothes and whites. No wonder all those cloth diapering mom's recommend it! Plus with us having eczema and this detergent being hypoallergic is a major plus!

Charlie's Soap has offered to give one lucky reader a 17 oz sprayer of all purpose and a 80 load of laundry powder! Open to US Residents Only!

Mandatory Entry: Go to Charle's Soap and tell me something you learned about the company or products. This must be completed before you can qualify for additional entries. Thomas Everything Bagel Thins Review!

I recently got to try Thomas Everything Bagel Thins. I have to say I was kind of skeptical at first. They looked yummy but being pregnant and my sense of smell really effect my taste buds.

The Thomas Everything Bagel Thins have some kind of herb on them and I am not sure which one. Maybe basil? It didn't say on the package. So, the other morning I toasted my bagel and bad me trying to eat heathy fried a egg and added cheese. Tossed that on my lovely bagel of course with mayo. Which I love.
It tasted yummy! The bagels are only 110 calories and have 5 grams of fiber! If you are like me I have a hard time getting enough fiber in my diet. I know I am suppose to get a minium of 25 grams of fiber.

They have many other flavors of Thomas Bagel Thins at your local grocery store. I for sure would love to try the Cinnamon Rasin ones! They also have whole wheat and plain.

So, why not spice up your breakfast and try some!

You can find many great and healthy recipes to try here.
