The Tommee Tippee App uses your Facebook account to start the process. First sign in using your Facebook account, if you do not have one there is a link on the page to assist you in getting an account.

Once you have signed in and allowed the application to run you have the opportunity to share both your information and your baby's. I love that it allows you to upload an ultrasound picture right off the bat!

During your registration there are easy links, including one from a sponsor of the app to set up your BabiesRUs gift registry. Don't forget to include all of the great Tommee Tippee products on your registry!

Following your registration you have the option to choose and upload the content you would like. This storybook can be shared with all of your loved ones so they too can help welcome the new baby! Check out a sample storybook today to see all of the possibilities.

See a Video about this great app from it's creators.

One thing I really love about this keepsake storybook is that you can also add news feeds including news headlines and your Facebook wall comments. Do you know what happened the day you were born? Or the day your children were born?

I tried to do a search on the day I was born and not a lot popped up which was very disappointing. Luckily I have a newspaper type thing my mom had made for the day I was born with all the major headlines and prices on it. But how amazing it would be to have a great storybook to look back on!

So, with that in mind why not let this great web app help you keep track of all of these memories for your children. I know life can be busy and often we do not have all of the time to do everything we would like to. Make saving memories about your new child's special birth day simple and fun with The Day You Were Born Web App!

Tommee Tippee is offering one of my lucky readers a newborn starter prize pack in honor of the launch of their new app!

Keep Yourself Safe from Identity Theft!

If you’re like many Americans, your smart phone is like a lifeline. We use our mobile devices to check email, text, manage finances, shop and more. Unfortunately, this also means that a lot of sensitive data is stored in an easily accessible form. Identity thieves can use this to take control of your life and your credit score. However, a fear of identity theft shouldn’t stop you from traveling! In fact, by following advice from a recent post on the FreeScore blog, you can have a safe vacation and keep your identity intact.

In “Stay Vigilant Against Identity Theft While Relaxing on Vacation,” the credit experts at FreeScore provide helpful tips for staying safe while on vacation.

Do you know where your laptop or smart phone is at all times? Even though many of us consider mobile devices indispensible, it is quite alarming how often these things are left behind. In fact, a Texas-based data security company discovered that more than 11,000 laptops, tablets, smart phones and the like were left behind at airports. If you took into account how many people forget their smart phones at coffee shops, the combined numbers may be even scarier. For identity thieves, one moment of forgetfulness on your part could lead to a big reward for them. Protect yourself this summer by being aware of your surroundings and possessions.

One amenity that businesses use to lure travelers is free WiFi. While free WiFi may seem like a carefree luxury, many identity thieves set up fake networks to grab your information when you log on. Before you use an unknown network, make sure it’s legitimate.

Using these tips can help you avoid the headaches of identity theft during your summer vacation and throughout the year. Look online to check for a free credit score offer.

FreeScore gives you the Power of 3: credit scores, monitoring, and alerts at the three major credit bureaus — TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. If an identity thief obtains your personal information, FreeScore will notify you so you can take immediate action. Go relax, enjoy your vacation and have peace of mind in knowing that your identity is safe with services from FreeScore.

Itzbeen Babycare Timer Review and Giveaway!

Have you hear of Itzbeen? If not it's every mom's must have! I wish I had heard of them sooner. Itzbeen is a baby care timer that helps you keep up with the last time you feed your baby, changed their diaper and how long they slept for. It also has a switch so you can remember what side you nursed off last if you are breastfeeding!

It's really great because the first couple weeks we are so sleep deprived we can't hardly remember anything! I have to say that Itzbeen has been a lifesaver for me. Now I can keep up with how long it's been between feeding. It also has a bonus timer as well I use that to see how long my baby nurses for. I also reset it for when I go to bed to see how much sleep I am getting too.

It also has a clock that so you can set the time. It has a night light feature as well. It has a back clip so you can clip it to your diaper bag when you are on the go!

I can't brag enough on this product as it just been such a blessing to have. I so wish I had this back when I first started having kids. It should be on every mom's must have list wether you are a new mom or not!

Not so Wordless Wednesday! New Baby!

Joanna was born August 12th at 11:21 am weighing 8 lbs 12 ozs and 21 1/2 inches long. We are very Blessed that she arrived safely as you can see below their was a knot in her cord. The doctor said I was very fortunate not to have experienced any problems during my pregnancy as she had to do that early on. It didn't tighten till she was born. Praise God!

Here is my birth story:

I woke up at 2:30 am with painful contractions. I tried to go back to sleep but the anticipation of having another was keeping me awake. At that time they weren't regular at all. But by 3:30 they were 10 mins apart and lasting 1 min. So their was no sleeping then. I tried to rest on the couch and let hubby sleep as much as possible. I got up and ate something at 4:00 am as I was hungry. By 4:30 my contractions were 7 mins apart and lasting up to a minute and a half. So, I decided to wake hubby up and us start packing and getting ready.

So, I call my support team so they could be getting ready as well. By the time I got all my stuff packed and my little ones dropped off we arrived at the hospital at 5:49 am. I got up to Labor and Delivery and hooked up to the monitors. They checked me and said I was 3 cm, 50% effaced and -3 station. Which was no change except for the effaced part since my doctor appointment the day before.

The doctor came in and said I could go home and come back later or she could break my water and we could go from their. I said ok you can break my water as no since in going home and coming back later that day. She left so the nurse could get all my stuff set up and by the time she came back I was already 4 cm, 50% effaced and -2 station. So, it was nice to make some progress.

She broke my water and I labored naturally till I hit 9 cm and got a epidural. I just couldn't see no light at the end of the tunnel and I know if I was able to get out of that bed and sway a little I could of finished natural. But am thankful that I was able to get my epidural as the guy almost didn't make it in time.

I had her 2 hours after my water broke. I am so greatful that she is alive and healthy! Here she is with her head full of hair. All that indegestion and heartburn paid off again!

Capturing Couture Review!

Do you own a DSLR camera? Are you sick of your camera strap? I know I have and the one that comes with it isn't comfortable at all. That's why I am excited to tell you about Capturing Couture! They have some great camera straps that will make you the newest stylish photographer! No more bland ugly straps!

I recently received the Sofia Black 2" camera strap.
I can't say enough about how comfortable it feels around my neck. It has padding in the middle of the strap making it very comfortable. But hold on they don't only sale camera straps they also sell camera bags and guitar straps as well! Don't think because you have a point and shoot camera you can't be stylish either! They have a line of wristlets just for those point and shoot cameras and a male line too!

They have thought of everything when it comes to style and it really makes it hard to chose just one. I love them all! Their packaging was even stylish!

You can check them out on facebook here.

Crazy at my house!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my crazy house! My husband and boys made it home last week from a mission trip to Honduras. Ever since my husband decided it was time to start rearranging my house.

Go figure he waits till he comes back to decide he is ready to rearrange the house. I have been asking for months to move the girls out of the extra part of our room and he waits till 2 weeks before my due date. LOL But it has been all good. My house has went from total wreck to total disaster since they came home. It took 3 days just to get all their laundry done. Then on top of that furniture everywhere.

So, now it has gotten better. My little ones now have their own room even though they had their own room before it's just not the extra room that only hooks to our room. My laundry room has been rearranged and as of last night my kitchen is now done being retiled! It looks great!

Next project is to rearrange my den and then get the kids school room set up since we moved the table in the kitchen and out of the dinning room.

I finally decided to start packing my hospital bag. It sure would be nice if this little girl would decide to come this week. Otherwise I will be stuck at home and not get to see my kids compete in the Bible Bowl this year. Plus, I plan on starting school the 15th.

We shall see. I go back to the doctor Thursday and I am hoping I have made more progress pass 3 cm and 1 cm effaced.

Also, my husband's nephew passed away right after he got back from Honduras and we had a viewing this past Thursday and a funeral Friday to go to. So, as you can see it's been super crazy here.

I am hoping to get some reviews and some giveaways done this week but we shall see. So, stay tuned!
