Lafayette Puzzle Factory Review!

We love doing puzzles here at my house. I am always on the outlook for something fun inside for us to do. So, I was excited when Lafayette Puzzle Factory contacted me to do a review.

We recieved the hot new Crayola chalkboard floor puzzle Space Zone. As soon as we got it we took it out of the box and started putting it together. Their is 48 pieces to this puzzle and they are big pieces so really great for all ages.

Of course the best part is you can draw on it after you are finished. The kids loved that fact! It was great. We all took turns drawing on it with the chalk and erasing it.

This to me is better than sidewalk chalk. As we don't have a sidewalk or drive way my kids can draw on and too it can be done indoors. It's way too hot outside now these days to be playing much.

This puzzle also comes in Playground Fun and the USA Map.These chalkboard puzzles are available at Toys R Us nation wide. Not only does Lafayette Puzzle Factory have these great puzzles they carry many others as well.

Eat Smart Precision Pro Review!

As you all know I am trying to lose weight. I have been working out regularly since the end of last year. I have been eating healthy. So, I decided why not count my calories and limit my portions. That's when I found Eat Smart.

I received their Eat Smart Precision Pro for review. I have to say I am impressed with this as it registers in grams / ounces / pounds / kilograms. It weighs items up to 11 lbs. This neat little gadget is great for cooks, dieters and families.

It came with a FREE EatSmart Calorie Factors guide and 2 AAA batteries.It has a tare feature which eliminates the weight of a plate, 3 Minute Auto-Shutoff lets you prepare ingredients while maintaining battery life.

I love the fact that it came with the EatSmart Calorie Factor guide!
This scale has really wakened up my eyes on portion size as well. Oh my gosh! I was trying to get the portion size for my cereal the other day and calculating my calories up then I see my daughter pouring her cereal. I was like lets just see how many calories you have there. She has poured in her bowl about 2 1/2 servings which made her calories for that one bowl of cereal not counting the milk 325 calories! Wow!


I also love the fact that I can use this scale in my cooking as I have some recipes that go by the weight. If you are a canner that is true in alot of canning recipes as well.


So if you are looking for a scale whether it be for cooking or dieting this would be the one to check out!

My answer: I loved going fishing with my grandfather. Spending those precious moments just me and him catching fish. I love doing that now with my kids although we are still teaching them that you got to have patience in waiting for the fish to bit.

I had a friend over the other day and her son saw it and hopped on and took off. He was having a blast. I told her see you can do that. I think that helped build her confidence even more.

This bike does draw kids to it no doubt. It's the main attraction at my house when a little one comes over. Plus, it's inside they probably think I am the coolest mom letting my kids ride a bike in the house.

My Shutterfly Experience What's Yours?

Have you heard of Shutterfly? It's a one stop personal photo store. You can design your own Baby Announcements, Holiday Cards, Thank You Cards, and much more.

I love taking pictures! So much that my loving husband got me a DSLR for Christmas this past year. So, for Father's Day this year I made Father's Day cards and everyone loved them. I also have created two photobooks from Shutterfly and love the quality.

Since the last two kids I have done photobooks of their first year. I also did one for my loving husband with pictures from when we got married through now.

Their are so many different things that Shutterfly has to offer from prints to photo gifts! I love how simple and easy their site is to use. I don't know about you but it will soon be Christmas before you know it. I personally love creating personalized Christmas Photo Cards to send out. We did that for the first time last year and everyone loved them. Not only that they got a picture of our family on the front. That saved a bunch of trouble then just getting family photos and mailing them out.

I have long hair and am always on the outlook for great hair care products. So, I was happy to find Longhairlovers. Longhairlovers carries haircare products to help promote all natural hair growth. They use the purest ingredients possible, choosing organically grown ingredients whenever possible for their hair care products.

I got to try their Luxe Shampoo and Conditioner with their Shea-mu Hair Butter.

Their Shea-mu Hair Butter makes your hair grow faster and adds luster to dry brittle hair. It takes about 15 weeks to see results. I have been using it for 6 weeks now and I can already tell a difference. My hair is growing faster than what it had been. Which I am so happy with as it seemed like my hair would take forever to grow.

Their Luxe Shampoo is a thick shampoo and you only massage it in your scalp. This concept was new to me. I thought well if you only use it on your scalp my hair going to look blah. Nope because after you add some water to the shampoo and massage in your scalp the suds rinse down your hair which in turn clean your hair. I also got the Luxe Conditioner which really helped. I have frizzy hair and the humidity here doesn't help none. After using this conditioner it really helped tame them frizzies. My hair is so hydrated and full of life. I get comments all the time on how great my hair looks.

You ever lose stuff.....

and wonder what happened to it? I know I am always losing stuff. Or should I say misplacing it. The most common thing I misplace is my cell phone.


I blame it on having kidtimers. I know it's not a word but hey it's mine. Well today I as usual couldn't find my crochet hook. I knew where I had left it but it wasn't there. So, we did a wild search and no luck. Then I was like that's it pull all the coushions off the couch it's got to have been eaten by the couch! Well sure enough after getting the kids to stick their tiny hands in my couch we begin to find....... first my hook! YAY!


Then we found my oldest ruler that had been missing for 2 months and then we found my ruler that had been missing for 3 months. Wow my couch was hungry. Along with that we found some change, some bookmarks, and some animal crackers!


At least we know that my couch not only likes to collect our stuff it likes to eat food just as much as we do. So, next time you lose or misplace something check the couch! You will be surprised at what it has ate over time. If you do be prepared to get icky. That's why I had my kids stick their hands in there. LOL
