You will need to still enter a credit card to sign up, but as long as you cancel before your free year ends you won't be charged.
This membership will give you access to coupons that others can't get. They are supposedly higher values and some unique offers. I have already signed up myself and have seen some good coupons. I am not sure yet it is worth paying for, but since they are giving me a year free I am definitely going to try it out!
