March Hoops Appetizer Ideas!

With football season and the Big Game behind us it is time to get in gear for March Hoops!

With that in mind I decided on a yummy snack for my guest!

I have already tried out several. Here is one of the yummy creations.

I like making this yummy dip.

I take 2 lbs of ground turkey and brown it. I then put that in my crock pot and add 1 package of Velveeta and mix it up good. Then I add 2 tubs of mild Wholly Salsa and stir it in. I let it cook on low for about 2 hours checking on it in between to make sure nothing is sticking or burning.

Also if you use a slow cooker liner will help prevent having a messy clean up!

I also like to add 2 cans of black beans to change it up from time to time. I use mild salsa because my little ones love eating this!

Another one of my favorites is a Taco Ring.

2 8oz cans of crescents
1 lb of ground turkey
2 cups of shredded cheese
1 package of taco seasoning
1 small onion

First off preheat oven to 375. You don't have to add onion I do because I love onion. Dice the onion and add it to the ground turkey and brown it together. Gives the meat a good flavor. After brown drain and add taco seasoning with 2 tsp of water and cheese mix well. Then on a round pizza pan roll out your crescents and separate. Arrange triangle in a circle with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward outside. There should be a 5 inch hole in the center.

Scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest ends of dough at center of ring. Bring points in and over and tuck underneath the wide end. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

You can add whatever other garnish you want. I love Guacamole and one of my favorites is Wholly Guacamole
