My Walmart Deals!

Yesterday I went and did some shopping at Walmart. Everyone knows that Walmart price matches ads and you don't have to take the ad in no more. The great thing is with their new policy they do Buy 1 Get 1 Frees too!

Publix has Juicy Juice 64 ozs B1G1F their price is $3.97 Walmart's price is $3.08 I bought 4 had a coupon for $2 off 4 Juicy Juices that I printed from Juicy Juice website making the final price per bottle $1.04. (please note prices vary from store to store and state to state) 

Winnie Dixie has select General Mill Cereals 2 for $5 which is a good deal. I got 4 boxes and had 2 $1.50 off 2 cereals coupons making it $1.75 a box!

I love saving money. I also price matched several other items and saved $25 just at Walmart with other local deals in my area!  If you have any great deals to share please leave a comment. 

Here are the deals I got today!

Did you know that Target price matches? Or that they have coupons on their site? They do! Let me tell you about the deal I got today at Target. I went to Target.com and printed off coupons here. I printed off the $1 off Dove Men Care Deodorant coupon. CVS has it on sale for $0.99. Target price matched it for that price. You do have to take the ad in for them to price match and they have to keep the ad. Granted the coupon was for a $1 off but their system won't allow for it so it just took off the $0.99. Which is fine by me. Made it free! I was able to print off 4 of those coupons 2 off my husbands computer and 2 off my computer. So, I scored 4 Dove Men Care Deodorants for FREE!

Then I headed over to Publix. Most people snagged the famous $3 off 2 Dove products coupon that was on coupons.com this week. If not you missed out. I was able to print it 4 times. Twice on each computer! It was a Walgreens coupon. But Publix will take competitor coupons and they just so happen to have their Dove Deodorant for women on sale for buy one get one free! So, I scored 8 Deodorants and made $0.04. They actually gave me the overage. Some places won't do that and some will!

So, I was able to get a total of 12 deodorants and make $0.04. I feel like I accomplished something good today!

I recently got to try Walgreens Brand Adhesive Bandages. What perfect timing when I got them. Being a mom of 6 kids soon to be 7 we are always using band aids. Coupons? Saving Money? What are you doing?

For the longest time I have been price comparing to save money. But I have only been shopping at Walmart. Well the last 3 weeks I have been learning to coupon. I remember when I was little my mom clipping coupons but it just never seemed the savings where worth the headache or made a huge difference.

Well I have learned otherwise. I was told about that show on TLC Extreme Couponing. I got to watch it last Wednesday and boy was I impressed. I never in my wildest dreams thought you could save that much money. If you haven't seen the show you should watch it. Their are some things I wouldn't do that I thought was crazy. Like buy stuff I have no use for or don't even use.

Of course if you are wanting to coupon it doesn't happen over night. I know. I have checked out tons of coupon sites and have printed out tons of coupons. I even printed out some I knew I wouldn't use that week just so I could have them as most the time you get a while before they expire and never know when that item might go on sale or you end up getting it free.

So, here lately I have been hitting 3 different stores to save money. I will say it's worth the gas. As they are all right near each other and the savings I am getting makes up for it.

Plus, you have to know all your coupon policies for your grocery store. We are lucky we have 1 grocery store that will double coupons but the catch is it's up to a certain amount. I have saved about $200 in the last few weeks. When you prices are going up every penny counts.

I do know you can print coupons from walmart.com and target.com. Of course some of target's is only for target but their are some manufacturer coupons their as well. I recently received a After-Bath Hat from Bamboobino to try. I have to say I love it! It's cooler at night here lately and I always worry that my little ones will get sick from wet head. They of course don't like the hair dryer.

Simple Green Outdoors Cleaning Kit Review and Giveaway!

I recently recieved Simple Green Outdoors Cleaning Kit. In this kit I recieved a 16 oz bottle of Original Concentrated Simple Green, 16 oz bottle of Simple Green Stainless Steel 1-Step Cleaner/Polish, 16 oz bottle of Simple Green Stone Cleaner, 16 oz bottle of Simple Green Stone Polish, and one 20 oz can of Simple Green Foaming BBQ/Grill Cleaner.

With it being nice outside I grill a lot. I have to say I love the BBQ/Grill Cleaner it really does a great job! Then to make my grill look even better I use the Stainless Steel 1-Step Cleaner/Polish to make it look brand new again. All I had to do was spray and wipe without having to wait like some cleaners. Now the Stone Cleaner and Polish are not necessary to be used out doors you can use these 2 great products indoors on your granite, marble, tile, limeston, corian, silestone and more! It is not recommended to use on your floor as it make cause you to slip.

Of course the Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner is great for everything! You can dilute this to use for whatever purpose you need it for! You can use it as a degreaser, laundry presoaks and many more. You name it you can use it!

As you all know I have a crafty side. I recently got the opportunity to review Kathy Davis's book Scatter Joy  and her fabric line.

I received her Journeys line of fabric in teal. Of course I had to pick a color in the blue family as blue is my favorite color. I am currently working on a quilt with this beautiful fabric! I am not sure yet if I will make this the new baby's quilt or not. As I just love it! I might just keep it for myself. I will definetly post pictures when I finish it.
