With Valentine's Day right around the corner we think of spending time with the people that are most important to us! So, why not save your money eating out at a busy over priced restaurant and this year plan a romantic meal at home.
I do love doing something romantic for my husband. I have served dinner this special night with candles lite through the house. Of course it is always a huge success Plus, I don't like trying to find a restaurant to eat at on Valentine's Day as it is always packed and over crowded.
You can try many things like breakfast in bed! That is sure to please someone. Or a romantic meal at the dining table! I think this year I might surprise him with breakfast in bed!
Here is a simple breakfast in bed recipe to be a winner!
Toast some frozen waffles with Hormel Cure 81 ham., with strawberries and maple syrup. Or spread toast with cream cheese, create a heart in the center of the toast with blueberries and spoon strawberry jam in the center. How simple is that!
Now if you have the time which most of us don't in the mornings you could make homemade waffles!
I think I will make homemade waffles the night before! I want all the extra brownie points I can get!
So, what are your plans this Valentine's Day?
