As many of you know I have been working on my now 2 yr old potty training. We been working on this for about 4 months now and it has been up and down. I have dealt with stubborn headedness before and seems we are back on that track. I wish I had started with her like I did her 3 1/2yr old sister Faith at 8 months. I had her completely potty trained no accidents by 18 months.
Everyone I know always says girls are easier well in my experience and I have tons now with girls since I got 4 in a row. My boys were easier to potty train with the exception of Faith she was easy as pie.
The thing with Hannah here lately is we have gone several weeks just having pooing in her panties then for 4 days in a row she just decided she was going to pee in her panties as well. Of course she don't like it so she goes and takes off her wet ones and puts them in the dirty clothes. So, their is no doubt this little girl knows when she got to go. She been doing good telling me. I wish I could find some onesies in her size as now she takes off her diaper in her bed when she wakes up from nap or bedtime. The last 2 days she took it off and pooped in her bed. Now she goes around takes off her panties and poops on the floor.
Please tell me I am not the only one going through this! I have never had one do this at all. It's really weird. As I could always tell when my others had to go not her though. The wonderful joys of motherhood! I do know this will pass one way or another. I just really like her to poop in the potty sooner then later.
Oh potty training... rrrghgghghg! Next week MageeBoy will be 3 years old and although I think we have mastered potty training he has had poopoo in the pants accidents the last 3-5 days. He just doesn't want to stop playing and then gets upset that it happens(and so do I! LOL). I don't have any advice but wishing you good luck!

You poor thing. I'm not sure I have any tips on this one. Sorry. I do hope someone can help you. It might be helpful to take to her doctor?
ReplyDeleteOh man, we had poop in underwear for almost 6 months--twice a day, sometimes more!
ReplyDeleteI thought our son would NEVER go poo in the potty. Finally at 3 years and 4 months he has been going on the potty without a poop accident for over 2 weeks! WHOO HOO! The trick for us was taking off his undies and letting him go comando in the house. It worked, he wouldn't go poo on the ground. So now we can put undies on him and he will still go. We occasionally still have a pee accident but he is catching those most times now, too. I seriously never imagined potty training could be this hard. Saying a prayer for wisdom (and patience) for you!
