BobbleRoos Review and Giveaway!

Have you heard of BobbleRoos? It's a  a mom-owned business based in Maryland just outside of Washington DC. The company is owned and run by Renee Sirulnik - an entrepreneurial mom who has always loved sewing and creating things.

I don't know about you but I love hearing about mom-owned businesses. It makes me feel inspired to do something myself.

I recently got to review their Toddler blanket and pillow.
I chose the bugs on pink and had my little ones name embroidered on the pillow. Of course she loves it and is a happy camper when it comes to bed time. She now feels like a big girl with her own pillow. I love how soft the flannel fabric is. They have a great selection of fabrics to chose from really made it hard to decide on just one.

Not only does BobbleRoos carry the Toddler blanket and pillow set but they have baby blankets, security blankets, burp cloths, crib sheets and much more!

BobbleRoos is offering one of my lucky readers their very own Toddler Blanket and Pillow set! Open to US residents only!

Mandatory Entry: Go to BobbleRoos and tell me what your favorite fabric is. This must be completed before you can qualify for additional entries. Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Review and Giveaway!

With it being winter time we are always ending up with dry hands and chapped checks. That is why I am glad I agreed to try Skin MD Shielding Lotion!

Skin MD is a unique shielding lotion that works to prevent dry skin in two ways. Let me tell you how it works.

First, it assists the inner layers of skin to absorb moisture. The humectant (an ingredient that attracts moisture) used in Skin MD Natural is unique to it and has been laboratory tested to be 6 times more effective than any other you will find in common creams. Pretty impressive!

Second, a shielding lotion enhances the power of the top layer of the skin to resist environmental irritants while protecting the inner natural moisture.

Skin MD Natural is hypoallergenic, free of fragrances, parabens and colorants. It is made with more than 90% natural ingredients and 100% food-grade ingredients that are on the FDA's "most safe" list.

Something else that I was really impressed with was their eco-friendliness. Skin MD is manufactured in a facility that is 100% solar powered! To me, that is quite impressive!!

I will say this is not a thick lotion it is a thinner lotion which to me helps it absorb faster. I have used this on my dry hands and chapped faces. It works great! I also use this lotion while I am knitting or crocheting as working with yarn tends to dry my hands out.

I really love the fact it is free of fragrances as being pregnant I have a high sensitivity to smell. Which is not fun.

Skin MD Natural is offering one of my lucky readers their very own bottle of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion to try!

Mandatory Entry: Go to Skin MD Natural and tell me something you learned. This must be completed before you can qualify for additional entries. All extra entries who don’t do the mandatory entry will be deleted. Please leave a valid email address in your comment as this is how I will contact you should you win.

Angell Organic Candy Bars Review

Ever dream of a great tasting candy bar that is healthier for you and better for the planet? I never thought one existed till I found Angell Organic Candy Bars! The best part is they are Organic along with being delicious!

I recently got to try their bars and I was impressed! I have to say my favorite is the Angell Crisp.

Angell Crisp, a classic combination of smooth, creamy milk chocolate and crispy rice. Every bit a candy bar, but gluten-free! This bar kind of reminded me of a Nestle Crunch bar which I love too by the way.

I was kind of iffy on whether or not I would like this one as I am not big on dark chocolate. But this bar doesn't have that bitter after taste that most dark chocolates have.
Dark Angell is a refined combination of luxurious organic dark chocolate, wrapped around a smooth cocoa center with organic almonds for crunch.
The Snow Angell is a subtler candy bar made from creamy white chocolate wrapped around a delicious, organic coconut center. I have to say white chocolate is usually sweeter then regular chocolate so I was thinking this bar might be too sweet for me. Nope it too was delicious.

I really have enjoyed all 3 bars and was very disappointed at how fast they went. I wanted more! But I am a chocolate lover and what woman isn't? But the best part was I didn't feel guilty eating it as it has healthier ingredients.

You can find these delicious bars at Amazon.com and VeganEssentials.

Smead Tax Products Review!

It's that time of year again to start preparing your taxes. Sometimes being a busy mom makes it difficult. That's where Smead comes in! Smead has some great products to help you get organized for tax time!

They have this great tax organizer.
It has 6 pockets with a printed checklist and notes area on the inside cover to make getting your taxes ready so much easier! It is also a great place to store you taxes for the year keeping you all organized. It also has tax subject and blank labels to help you stay better organized.

Another great product to get you ready for tax season is the expanding file.
This Jan-Dec epanding file is perfect to help you stay organized throughout the year. The great thing about this is it is labeled by the months.
If you purchase items that you’ll need proof of when tax time comes, you’ll want to be sure to hang on to the receipt. Sometimes it may not be convenient to file the receipt immediately.

Keep an expandable wallet in your vehicle or kitchen. These are two locations where receipts are often found “floating”. Once a month, transfer the receipts into your Expense File or Binder.

If possible, make a note on each receipt what was purchased and circle/highlight the date. When you’re in the middle of preparing your taxes, you’ll appreciate this attention to detail.

I have to say these products are really helping me stay organized this tax season. They will come in handy this next one as well.

If you want more information on how to stay organized this tax season check out Smead Organomics.

CSN Stores!

CSN has over 200+ stores to chose from from swing sets to home decor. With so many choices it makes shopping in one place so much easier.

What kid wouldn't love a swing set? My little ones have been asking for one. So, I have been looking around. I like this one.
I like this one mostly because it has more swings and it has the teeter totter on the side. My kids love to teeter totter. Plus I would need as many swings as I can.

From previous shopping with CSN they have very fast shipping! I can't say enough. I love shopping as CSN stores!

What have you been baking?

Being pregnant has made me have cravings. Who doesn't. We have ran out of bread and since I love to bake I made some homeade bread. Which I love making homeade bread as it is so much heathier then buying bread at the store. But I am always busy and usually don't have time. Well this week I made time and have made 4 loaves.

Don't those look yummy! Well then I started craving apple pie! MMM apple pie. So, I decided to make a homeade apple pie with the apples that I had. Of course homeade pie crust.

Don't that look yummy? Well it was. Here is a picture of the beautiful slice.

I of course added vanilla ice cream to the top. It was yummy! I have to say it was the best apple pie I have ever tasted.

I just love baking. I have to say I love baking more then cooking as I am not good at winging main dishes as I am desserts. Guess everyone has their nack. So, what have you been baking?

How to stay Healthy during the Cold and Flu Season?

With Cold and Flu Season now upon us everyone is trying to stay healthy. I have to say our crazy temperatures down here in the south don't help. We can have 70 one day and 40 degrees the next. That's when people start getting sick. I always try to make sure we boost our immune systems during this time of year.

Here are a few tips on how to help support a healthy immune system when you need it most.

Zinc is a important mineral that supports immune health. If taken before the first signs of a cold or flu it may reduce your chances of getting stuck inside with the sniffles.

Echinacea purpurea is a powerful herb that can help reduce the risk of catching a cold or flu when taken regularly during cold and flu season. Try taking echinacea for a few weeks then take a week off and start it back up again. Add vitamin C and zinc to the mix and you got a triple threat against colds and flus. Also, if taken at the first signs of a cold will reduce the duration of the symptoms.

Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that helps your body fight free radicals and helps support a healthy immune system. I got some vitamin C chews from Genesis Today and they are great to give your kids. Especially if they can't swallow.

Boost your intake of B-complex vitamins. These vitamins not only help reduce stress which can wreak havoc on your immune system, B-vitamins actually help support healthy immune function. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) enhances your body's immune response and vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) helps build your body's antibodies to fight infection.

Take a steamy shower, or hold your head above a steaming pot of water to relieve congestion. Steam is soothing and helps open up blocked sinuses so you can breathe a little easier. For a more therapeutic steam add a little eucalyptus or tea tree oil to a boiling pot of water and breathe in every 1-2 minutes for about 10 minutes. The essential oils with the steam will hep your body discharge all the mucus, in your nose, lungs and throat. You'll be amazed at what comes out of you.

Garlic is a natural antiviral and contains a potent compound called allicin. Garlic helps fight viruses by destroying the virus cells before it enters your body. So if you want to fight a cold or flu, load up on garlic. Raw garlic is best, but cooked garlic has less of a offensive odor if you consume a lot of it.

I do a lot of natural remedies in my house to keep my family healthy. I could go on and on. But I just wanted to share a couple tips that might help you!

Swagbucks Games!

Want more ways to earn swagbucks? Swagbucks has just introduced Swagbucks Games! It is a great way to earn swagbucks while having fun playing games that you will love. I have already played a couple and have had fun. Here is how it works:

1. Play games for free. That's right: just playing games will randomly earn you Swag Bucks - anywhere from 1 to 5, and you can earn multiple times per day.

However, the BIG opportunities to earn will come from:

2. Buying into tournaments. Each game has multiple tournament options where you risk a small amount of Swag Bucks for the chance to earn a large amount.

Tournaments are always played at your own pace. You can enter them whenever you like! There are two different types of tournaments:

- Limited Player Tournaments where the number of total entrants is capped. As each new player enters, the number of available entries goes down by one. As soon as all the spaces are filled, the tournament closes; a winner is chosen; the tournament starts over.

In this model, you always know what the final payouts to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will be, and you can only enter one time per tournament.

- Limited Time Tournaments where the number of entrants is unlimited and the tournament purse can grow huge, meaning your earning potential goes up without your having to lay out any additional Swag Bucks. In this model you can enter the tournament as many times as you like.

TO SUM UP: If you just want to casually play, it costs you nothing, but you won't win every time. If you enter tournaments, it will cost you a few Swag Bucks, but you have the chance to win a much larger amount than if you just play randomly.

So now you can play Free Games and earn swagbucks! If you use code SBGames you get 30 extra swagbucks for signing up! So what are you waiting for? Go sign up already!

I can't say how much stuff I have gotten from swagbucks. I have gotten numerous Amazon gift cards along with paypal cash redeeming my points.

Winner! Update!

Congratulations to the following winner!

The Winner of the ABC Necktie Giveaway is comment #204 erin.nicole!

I want to apoligize for my lack of post. But I will say this hopefully I won't jinx myself. I am feeling so much better this week. My morning sickness has lessened to almost non exsistant. YAY!

The bad news is my 3 yr old started running a high fever yesterday after she got up from her nap. Not good. So, I am going to be focusing today on getting her better. I really dislike winter! It's crazy temps down here in the south. I will say this after giving her tylenol and motrin last night she started running around because her temp dropped and she felt better. Then she woke up this morning at 3 am with it back. But it wasn't as high as before. She is still sleeping to this moment. So, we shall see how this day goes.

As you know I went away this past weekend. It was a good youth rally! The only down fall was I got sick on the bus ride up their. So, I will not ride the bus for a long trip like that again when I have been having morning sickness. Not fun at all.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week!

AMP Diapers Review and Giveaway!

AMP Diaper Store offers a variety of cloth diapering products! I recently received their One Size Duo in Panda Black. . This diaper can be used as a pocket or AI2 diaper. It  is one size fits all, from birth to potty training! AMP Diaper Store also offers a variety of quality cloth diaper inserts in hemp, bamboo, and cotton fleece!

I also received the 3 layer hemp insert for my diaper. I will say this I love this diaper. It has a soft cotton fleece inner. The pocket is different then I am use to as it opens in the front for the insert and not the back. Which of course makes it different then other pockets out there. I have been having a hard time finding that perfect diaper for my Little One for night time. I have to say this is now my night time diaper! Love it! It holds great no leaks. Of course you can always add more absorbancy if needed. I didn't need any with the hemp insert.

Also, I love the trimness of this diaper and the fact that it didn't droop in the front. It has elastic in the front that helps hold it up. I don't know if you notice that some cloth diapers when fitting smaller sizes kinda bunches up. Not this diaper!

AMP Diapers is offering one of my lucky readers their very own One Size Duo!
